About · the story so far

Salam, I'mHamza.

Four years, fifteen-plus products and seven storefronts into one simple obsession: interfaces that turn visitors into customers. Here's how it happened.

The route here.

Four years, four turns. Each one paid for the next, and none of them were planned.

2022

The leap

I went freelance with a Google UX certification, a laptop and one conviction: design should pay for itself. The certificates taught me the method. The clients taught me everything else.

The stores

Conversion school

Seven Shopify stores for fashion, watches and crafts brands, from Casablanca to the US. E-commerce is a hard teacher: every pixel either sells or stands in the way.

The redesigns

Finding the leaks

Then came the audits: a Saudi bank, a Moroccan agri-marketplace, a SaaS platform, a luxury concierge. Different industries, same pattern: products lose people in the same broken places.

Today

With users, not for them

Fifteen-plus projects later the job hasn't changed: sit with founders, argue with data, and design what users actually need, from Morocco, in three languages, for teams anywhere.

“Nobody pays for pretty. Design should pay for itself.”

Three rules, no exceptions.

Working with founders and developers since 2022 taught me what actually moves a project forward. It comes down to three habits.

  • Users decide

Decisions come from user flows, tests and evidence. Taste only settles ties.

  • Business first

Every screen is tied to a conversion goal. Design that doesn't sell is decoration.

  • Clean hand-off

Developers get specs, tokens and support until it ships. No mystery files.
